RMKB is focused on providing a high-quality service and student satisfaction – we’ll do everything to meet your expectations and deliver to the highest level.

With a variety of classes available for all ages, genders and abilities we will deliver a quality training experience. Within our martial arts, we have the grading structure, taylored training plans, circuit classes as well as a host of other classes available to choose from, we’re sure you’ll be happy working with us.

All of our instructors are approved for their suitability when working with young people via the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB), we have up to date First Aid Certification and are fully insured to teach.

Meet Robert

Robert started training in martial arts at the age of 13 to improve his self-defence skills. After training for several years, he achieved the level of 1st Degree Black Belt. He has dedicated his life to the pursuit of martial arts development and has achieved the rank of 6th Degree Black Belt. He has also travelled as part of both the Scotland National team as well as Team GB, competing overseas and throughout the world.

Robert has achieved World, European, British, Scottish and Regional Championship titles, as well as producing multiple World, European, British and Scottish Champions. He has also nurtured and mentored numerous junior and adult students from beginners to Black Belts over the years. Robert is constantly developing and implementing new training methods and new ways to improve the academy and always strives to maintain the reputation he has built as one of the top Martial Arts Academies in Scotland.
